I am a Canadian freelance journalist and editor based in Tbilisi, Georgia. I have degrees in journalism and international development, and my favourite projects are those that relate to both subjects.
I have worked and interned with media outlets and nonprofit organizations around the world including Canadian Geographic, AfricaFiles, CBC Radio, Postmedia News, the BarentsObserver, and Search for Common Ground.
I love to travel, try new food, and learn from the many people I meet. I have visited more than 20 countries and have spent extended periods of time in Ghana, France, Sierra Leone, Norway, and now Georgia. I have an advanced level of French and have taken courses in Spanish, Twi, and Georgian (currently).
Though I produce stories on a range of subjects, I am particularly interested in humanitarian issues, international development, social justice, sustainability, and innovation.
